This was an evening event planned to be a “get-together” for members of energy companies from throughout Germany who were attending a convention in Berlin.

At first, I thought that I would provide background music the entire evening. Since I was playing in a separate room from where the guests were eating, it felt a little lonely. But then, at the end of the evening, a large group of guests came and parked out in my room. Soon afterward, the empty room became a lively pianobar. Everyone stayed longer than they planned (me included)…

It was a lot of fun at the end, and I look forward to seeing many of the same people at other “energy” events later in the year.
